Last night the visiting Harbour View Vikings handed the KVHS Crusaders their 3rd lost in southern conference play with a 63-61 road victory. The lost drops the Crusaders to 2-3 in league play.

The Vikings jumped out to an early 11-2 lead despite sloppy play by both teams to start the game. After a quick timeout the Crusaders were able to claw their way back to take a 16-15 lead but Harbour View continued their aggressive play on offense to lead 21-18 after the first quarter. The 2nd quarter was much like the first with neither team able to make any sustained runs. The half end with Colin Loughery banking a three pointer at the buzzer to cut the visitors lead to 37-34 entering the break.

The 2nd half was a much more physical with game, especially in the 4th quarter, and the scores reflected the increased defensive play. The third quarter was a draw with both team scoring 18 points while the 4th quarter ended 9-7 for the Crusaders.
