The injury bug has taken a big bite of the KVHS Sr. Boys team early in the season. Two weeks ago while playing in the Leo Hayes tournament they lost two starters, now this week they loose Brent Kingston with torn ligaments in his ankles and Simon Gagnon with a sprained ankle in the Hampton game. Ryan Vaughan should be back next week for the St. Macs game but the status of the other three are unknown.
The Lady Crusaders are still rolling along with a strong showing at Saint John High school on Thursday evening. They play Hampton on Monday then should have another good test on Thursday when they visit Sussex.
On the JV Boys side, the Crusaders got a full dose of the Black Kats on Tuesday evening. It was painfully obvious that not only is this a talented FHS team but they are deep and are hitting on all cyclinders. It will be interesting to see if this team comes back to the pack like it did last year (altough that team wented undefeated).
