KVHS used a smothering defense to improve to 2-0 in league play.

Tonight the KVHS Blue Knights defeated the visiting Simonds Sea Bees 104-48.

Much like their previous five games, KVHS used a smothering defense to create numerous scoring chances. Unlike the previous games, however, the Blue Knights started finding their touch from the perimeter with their half-court offense.

KVHS won the first quarter 24-7 and the second quarter 21-7 for 55-14 lead at the half.

Leading scorers for KVHS were:

  • Sam Goodfellow with 26 pts
  • Finley Trites with 11 pts

Leading scorers for SHS were:

  • Cayden Sugden with 15 pts
  • Duncan Taylor with 12 pts
What’s Next

The Blue Knights improved to 2-0 in league play, 6-2 overall. They travel down the hill tomorrow night to take on the undefeated Rothesay Redhawks at 7:15 pm.
